Features of feeding dogs vegetables

But not all four-legged representatives will agree to eat such food, some are much more interested in gnawing it.
  2. There is no particular principle in whether food is ground in advance or not. The main thing is that it be thermally processed, if that is required by the state of health of the pet. It is better to combine treats, first chopping, second feeding whole or in large pieces. Chewing large meals and fresh vegetables leads to brushing your teeth from plaque.
  3. But this option is not suitable for puppies and those who are transferred from dry food to homemade food. Firstly, puppies will not be able to carefully chew vegetables, so they will remain wandering in the intestines. Secondly, it is better for babies not to give raw foods, so as not to provoke difficulties in the activity of the esophagus. And pets who switch to natural feeding will not regale themselves with slices of vegetables, choosing only slices of meat from the whole bowl. Therefore, it is advisable to grind food.
