Where do tropical parrots live?

Sometimes they eat nuts and seeds. It’s worth only a macaw to smell a fragrant flower, then right there this bird flies up to it and starts to drink nectar, and in some situations the macaw eats a fragrant flower. It so happens that birds devour larvae and insects.

The breeding time begins in April and ends in May, during this short time period there are lush, saturated flirting in birds. Males and females sit side by side, sort out feathers and make fancy sounds. In some cases, the birds decide to chase each other, or the male begins to dance funny.

Literally three days will pass and the female will lay the second egg, and in three days another one. True, it happens that the female lays only two eggs and begins to hatch them. The incubation period lasts a little less than a month, the male at this time takes care of and takes care of his feathered partner.

After the incubation period, blind and naked chicks go out into the white light. Only the female feeds the newborn chicks; she does not leave them for a long time. The male, on the other hand, protects the mother’s home, he is interested in the successful incubation.

After only two months, feathers sprout in young parrots, over time, feathers acquire the same color as in mature males and females. Chicks make forays 3–4 months after birth. Already at the age of three, four, puberty begins in ar. By the way, their age is very long - red macaws live from 30 to 85 years.

Opponents of Tropical Parrots

The bird is hiding from various predators on the tops of trees or in dense grass. A common cause of death of birds is not wild animals, but electric wires in which these specimens get stuck.
