Grade Benefits

Agronomists highlight a number of advantages:

  1. Excellent taste, which is preserved during canning.
  2. Resistance of bushes to lack of moisture.
  3. The plant does not die in insufficiently bright light.
  4. Rapid ripening of fruits.
  5. Resistance of plants to a common disease.
  6. High yield.
  7. The plant is pollinated independently.
  8. Ability to grow at home and in open beds.

Seed preparation

Experienced agronomists advise starting seed germination only after treatment, which should be carried out in the last month of winter. Processing will ensure the emergence of a large number of female inflorescences, of which cucumbers subsequently develop.

The seed pretreatment process includes 4 stages:

  1. Drying. Seed is calcined in an oven at a temperature of 60 degrees.
  2. Seed disinfection. Seeds are disinfected with manganese or a special solution, which includes 20 mg of boric acid, 10 g of superphosphate, 2 g of zinc, 300 mg of methyl blue and 5 g of potassium nitrate, separated in 1 l of water. Seed is placed in a disinfectant solution and incubated for 2 hours.
  3. Hardening. The next stage of preparation is hardening of the seed. Seeds are kept for 6 hours in the refrigerator. At the same time, the temperature should be constant and be -2 degrees Celsius.
  4. Germination. The process of their germination completes the preparation of seeds. The seed material is placed on a cloth soaked in water. After 48 hours, the seeds begin to germinate.

Growing

Seeds that have undergone the preparation process are planted in separate containers. Landing occurs according to the classical scheme:

Cultivation of cucumbers varieties Balcony miracle F1

  1. Preparation of soil mixtures. Experienced vegetable growers recommend placing seedlings in nutritious soil purchased in a store or made independently. The soil mixture is made of turf, humus, peat and sawdust, which are mixed in equal parts.
  2. Preparation of tanks. For landing use small containers. They are filled with soil mixture and heated, visiting in hot water.
  3. Sowing. Seeds are placed in containers with soil to a depth of 1-2 cm. 1 seed is placed in each cup.
  4. Compliance with the temperature regime. When growing seedlings, a stable temperature regime is observed. Air temperature should not fall below 25 degrees Celsius.
  5. Regular watering. Regular, moderate watering is carried out. Excessive moisture will lead to decay of the plant roots and death of seedlings. Water for irrigation should be at room temperature.
  6. Treatment with biostimulants. Growth stimulants provide fast growth and proper plant formation.
  7. Top dressing. When the seedlings are 14 days old, organic fertilizers are introduced into the soil.

The quality of the grown seedlings depends on the conditions created. In order for the young plant to be strong and well formed, agronomists recommend that the following conditions be met:

  • Good, diffused light.
  • Lack of drafts.
  • Regular watering.
  • The systematic introduction of fertilizers.

Transplanting

Transplanting seedlings is carried out after germination of 2 true leaves. Young cucumbers are planted in containers, the volume of which is from 5 to 8 liters. Expanded clay is placed at the bottom of the pots and filled with nutritious soil. Transplantation is carried out by the method of transshipment, which allows you to save the root system of seedlings.

Care Features

Caring for a room variety of cucumbers does not differ from the standard, and implies:

  • Garter to a strong support.
  • Pinching plants.
  • Introduction to the soil of complex fertilizers.
  • Regular watering.

Compliance with the rules of care ensures the proper development of the plant and a high level of yield.

Pests

Variety Balcony miracle is often attacked by spider mites, aphids and whiteflies. Timely treatment will help stop the spread of parasites and death of the plant.

In case of damage with a spider mite, the bushes are treated with a soap solution or garlic tincture. A decoction of cigarette tobacco prevents the spread of aphids, and the whitefly is removed from the plant with a vacuum cleaner.

Variety Balcony miracle allows growers to get a good crop of cucumbers in an apartment. The plant does not need special care, and any person can cope with the features of its cultivation.
