Grade description

Pink Chinese tomatoes are a high-yielding variety. Bushes of tomatoes grow in height from 1.5 to 2 meters. They require the mandatory formation of the apex, tying to the support and pinching.

The first fruits can be obtained in 90 - 100 days after sowing seeds for seedlings. The fruits are fleshy, flat-round, with a thin skin. After full ripening, they acquire a pink uniform color. Large tomatoes weigh an average of 450-550 grams. If you grow a plant in greenhouses and in favorable conditions, then the weight of one tomato can be 700-800 grams.

Tomatoes are not kept fresh for long, so after harvest they are allowed to cook canned food. In order to grow healthy and tasty tomatoes, you must follow the rules for care.

Growing Features

In order to get a high and high-quality tomato crop, seedlings need to be grown independently. Before sowing, do not forget to add organic fertilizers to the ground.

Sowing seeds
The most favorable time for sowing seeds is the end of February or the beginning of March. First, planting material should be held in a weak solution of potassium permanganate. After that, prepare the soil. If the earth is taken from a personal plot, it must first be disinfected from parasites and fungi. To do this, the soil is calcined in the oven at high temperature for 2-3 hours. Then the earth is placed in the prepared container, shallow grooves are made on the surface and seeds are sown. On top of the container is covered with glass or cling film.

About once a week, the soil should be sprayed with warm water. Boxes should be in a warm and sunny place. Glass should be removed after the first sprouts. If the seedlings are sown densely, then you can dive. To do this, you need to take separate glasses and plant seedlings there.

Planting seedlings
Before planting seedlings in a permanent place, they need to be hardened. To do this, the boxes for several days are taken outside and accustomed to the climate. In the ground, where it is planned to make holes for a tomato, humus or complex fertilizer is first introduced.

After the seedlings are planted in holes, next to it you need to establish strong supports to which the bushes will be tied as they grow and develop. To obtain larger fruits, after the ovaries appear, you need to remove some of them. No more than 5 tomatoes should be left on one branch.

Tomato Care

  1. Tomatoes do not like drought, so regular watering should be provided. However, the Chinese pink variety is distinguished by the presence of a thin peel, so excess moisture can cause cracking of the fruit. Watering should be done no more than 1 time per week.
  2. Timely cultivation and removal of weeds around the bushes is required. Too thick bushes need to be stepson.
  3. To obtain a richer crop several times during the summer, fertilizers should be applied. The first time additives are added during the growth of seedlings. The second time - during flowering. If, after the bushes began to bear fruit, the plants look lethargic and emanated, fertilizers should also be applied. Chicken droppings or mullein can be used as sources of nutrients.

Despite its high resistance to diseases and pests, the Chinese pink variety needs preventative treatments. To do this, you need to purchase special insecticides. If you follow all the rules of agricultural technology, you can get a rich harvest of large tomatoes. The only negative for use in canning is the large size of the fruit.
