Tomato Puzatiki

Grade characteristics

Tomato Puzatiki successfully grows and bears fruit in any region, regardless of climatic conditions. The plant can be planted:

  • in open ground;
  • to the greenhouse;
  • under temporary shelter.

The variety belongs to mid-early tomatoes. The fruits ripen on 110-115 days, after the appearance of the first seedlings.

Agronomists consider the plant to be determinant, however, in a greenhouse, a tomato can develop as semi-determinant varieties. Bushes of Puzatiks do not reach great height, the maximum size of the plant is 105 cm - in greenhouse conditions, and 75 cm - when growing in open ground. Due to the large weight of the fruit, the bush must be tied to a support. In addition, the plant needs pruning.

Note! Summer residents recommend growing tomatoes in 2 stems, and regularly remove the remaining shoots.

Tomato Puzatiki is characterized by high productivity. From one bush, 3-4 kg of ripened berries of a flat-circular shape are collected. In this case, the weight of each individual tomato reaches the mark of 300 g. The tomato has a pink, smooth, strong skin and fleshy flesh of a pink-red hue. Taste characteristics are high, which is ensured by the high content of sugar and lycopene in them.

Fruits are recommended for harvesting for the winter and cooking salads.

Positive grade characteristics

Experts highlight a number of positive characteristics of the new tomato variety:

  1. Resistance to temperature differences.
  2. Tomato Puzatiki does not die during spring temperature changes.
  3. Great harvest.
  4. From 1 bush collect up to 4 kg of ripe fruit.
  5. The plant has good immunity against diseases such as fusarium.
  6. Good taste.
  7. Large berries.

Negative grade characteristics

Agronomists note several negative characteristics:

Puzatiki Tomatoes

  1. The emergence of vertex rot.
  2. It is recommended to treat the plant with anti-decay products.
  3. Demanding for good lighting. Tomato bushes, for good growth and fruiting, require good lighting. Even temporary and slight shading has a negative effect on plant development and yield. Experts recommend the use of ultraviolet lamps to illuminate bushes on cloudy days.

Grade diseases

The Puzatiki tomato variety is prone to the appearance of vertex rot, which is expressed by the appearance of small brown spots in the upper parts of the berries. At the same time, the affected fruits are forbidden to eat, they are destroyed by burning.

Experts recommend systematically processing the plant, applying for these purposes:

  • calcium chloride;
  • Fitosporin.

Processing is recommended in the morning using a spray bottle. Spraying is carried out at a temperature of 15 degrees Celsius and above.

Landing and care

The variety requires the preliminary germination of seed material, which should begin in early spring. Germination occurs in a standard way:

Planting Puzatiki Tomatoes

  1. Seed disinfection.
  2. Planting seed in a container with soil.
  3. Perform regular watering.
  4. The introduction of organic fertilizers and biostimulants that contribute to the development of the root system and the active growth of seedlings.

Young plants need to be picked and highlighted with phytolamps.

After 2 months, the seedlings can be planted in a place of constant growth. On 1 square meter, no more than 4 tomato bushes are placed.

Agronomists recommend making additional fertilizers when transplanting the plant, by means of adding to the hole: a small amount of ash, a complex, organic fertilizer. In addition, it is recommended that the wells be pretreated with Fitosporin solution.

Watering Tomatoes

Watering tomatoes Puzatiki should be regulated based on weather conditions. In the case of lowering the temperature to 10 degrees and below, watering stops, at a temperature above 10 degrees, moderate watering of the plant is observed, which is carried out as the top layer of the soil dries up.

In mid-summer, when the air temperature reaches the highest levels, watering is increased to 2-3 times a week.

Fertilizer application

During the formation of the ovaries, the plant needs additional nutrients. Agronomists recommend using liquid fertilizer designed for the active growth of vegetables to feed tomatoes. Make diluted fertilizer should be at the root in the evening.

The Puzatiki tomato variety has many positive characteristics and good reviews about the taste and yield level. You can only verify this by growing a plant in your summer cottage.
