Tomato Siberian abundant - description and characteristics of the variety

A wide variety of tomatoes is grown by breeders specifically for the cold regions. "Siberian abundant" just refers to this type. It was bred for cultivation in severe conditions of Siberia, the Urals, as well as for the central territory of Russia and the Volga region.

The tomato is intended for cultivation in greenhouse conditions. Has a quick ripening period - from 90 to 110 days. Refers to an indeterminate species with a constant growth of the stem. In height, it reaches from 1.8 to 2 m per season. Two to three stems are formed, the remaining stepsons are removed. Needs additional support and garter to the peg or frame of the greenhouse. All seedlings at the same time bear ripe fruit. Ripening takes place at the same time.

"Siberian abundant" has bright red, even raspberry-colored vegetables. Unripe tomatoes are still bright orange. All tomatoes with a pointed tip resembling a radish. The weight of one vegetable is from 100 to 200 g. The first inflorescence, and then the fruit is formed on the 6 - 7 leaf. Each brush is formed through one sheet. Inflorescences can form from 8 to 10 ripe fruits. From one bush per season, you can collect about 6 kg of vegetables.

Growing

Sowing of seeds occurs in the second half of March in pallets or boxes. Use fertilized soil, prepared at home by mixing peat, humus, ash and old manure. You can buy soil for vegetables in a specialized store. Before placing the seeds in the soil, they should be decontaminated in a weak solution of manganese. Hold them 10 to 15 minutes. Then the seeds are soaked in a growth stimulator. Information on the residence time in the solution is indicated on the package. Then all the seeds are placed in a container to a depth of 1 - 1.5 cm. Cover with polyethylene or glass. When the first shoots appear, the containers are transferred to the most lit place with a fluorescent lamp.

In the greenhouse seedlings carry at the end of April. Room temperature should range from 24 to 26 degrees. At night, it can be from 18 to 20 degrees, but not lower, otherwise the growth of crops will slow down. Before planting seedlings in the ground, it is important that the initial stage of the peduncle is formed. At this moment, it's time to send it to the greenhouse. Thus, the first fruits will already begin to ripen in early June. Early ripening is characteristic of a small number of varieties. Therefore, many gardeners who want to get an early harvest will love this tomato.

The seedlings are placed in the greenhouse in two lines at a distance of about 40 cm from each other. The row spacing should be at least 70 cm. Such a planting will make it possible for the agronomist to take care of the plantings with great convenience.

It has very bright taste indicators. Tomato is intended for fresh consumption, cooking salads and pickling. It is also salted in a barrel way. Used in hot dishes, make juices, sauces and ketchups. Suitable for cooking almost all existing dishes.

Care

Timely proper care is important. All bushes need regular feeding. Manure is added to the soil, but not fresh, but settled or last year, so as not to burn the root system and not destroy the seedlings. You can distribute manure in the proportions: 2 kg of substance per 8 liters of water and insist for at least a week. With this fertilizer, you can feed the plants every 2 weeks. You can perform fertilizing with substances containing amino acids, trace elements and mineral additives. An azofosk preparation is suitable.It has all the necessary fertilizers for tomatoes: nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium.

Weekly weed removal, loosening the soil and creating a small mound near the stem. Thus, the plant forms new roots and has more access to fertilizers and watering. Moisten the soil should be under the stem, without falling on the leaves. After irrigation, it is better to loosen the ground or even sprinkle dry so that a crust does not form.

Benefits

Tomato is resistant to adverse weather conditions. Well suited for regions with a small amount of warm and sunny days. Tomato is recommended for growing in greenhouses. In open ground, it will feel good in warm regions. The first two to three brushes bring the bulk of the fruit from the bush. They are quite large. The subsequent ones are smaller.

Variety "Siberian abundant" will appeal to both professionals and amateurs. Its early ripening will enable only three months after sowing, in early June, to harvest the first mature and tasty crop. Suitable for annual cultivation in an industrial greenhouse and in a personal plot.
