  • Late blight.

Features of growing plants

Agronomists note that Stesha cultivars can be grown under any conditions. The plant is able to give a good crop and grow actively both in an indoor greenhouse and in open beds.

Despite recommendations for early planting in open ground, experienced vegetable growers are advised to germinate seed material at home, adhering to the basic system:

  1. Disinfectant solution. After purchase, the seeds should be soaked in potassium permanganate. In this case, the solution should be weak.
  2. The use of biostimulants. To achieve the maximum percentage of germination, it is recommended to use biostimulants. The seed material is soaked in Kornevin or Epin.
  3. Soil selection. Germination soil should have a loose structure and a large number of useful elements. You can use both the soil mixture purchased in the store, and nutrient soil mixed independently.
  4. Planting seeds. Seed material is planted in a container with soil mixture to a depth not exceeding 3 cm.
  5. Greenhouse conditions. To create a microclimate favorable for seed germination, it is recommended to cover the containers with film or glass.
  6. Pick Young shoots of tomatoes dive after the appearance of 2 true leaves.
  7. Top dressing. In the process of plant growth and formation, mineral fertilizers are introduced into the soil. For the entire period, the bushes fertilize 3 times.
  8. Hardening. It is recommended that seedlings begin to harden a week before transplanting to a permanent place of growth. To do this, containers with young plants are taken out daily. Outdoor time should increase gradually.

Landing in open ground is carried out after stabilization of the temperature regime. At this point, the plant should reach 65 days of age. Tomatoes are planted in the soil in the evening, using the method of transshipment. Agronomists recommend placing young plants in such a way that no more than 4 bushes grow on 1 square meter. This ensures the correct development of the root system and the absence of harmful effects of plants on each other.

Tomato Stesha requires attention to the formation of bushes. It is recommended to grow it in 1 or 2 stems, removing all stepsons. In addition, the bush must be tied to a strong support. Otherwise, it will break, unable to withstand the pressure of the weight of the fruit.

Care

To achieve the correct formation and active growth of the plant, you must adhere to simple rules of care:

  • Regular watering with warm water.
  • The introduction of fertilizers during the growing season.
  • Weed removal.
  • Loosening the soil.
  • Timely harvesting.

Tomato Stesha belongs to unpretentious varieties and is able to please a summer resident with a good harvest, thanks to which its popularity is growing every year.
