Tomato Gilded Belyash is considered one of the best in the large-fruited product line. This culture differs from many other varieties in that, having similar qualities with its “relatives”, it is characterized by special plasticity and unpretentiousness in leaving.

Bushes of gilded whitewash tomato are rather tall, despite the fact that the characteristics of the variety fall under the deterministic type. Active growth requires greenhouse conditions. With proper care, the height of the plants can reach 1.8 m.

Tomato Gilded whitewash needs to be planted, as its stem is prone to branching and without proper care, nutrients can be used to provide stepson shoots. Do not forget about the need to tie tomato bushes to the support. To increase productivity, it is customary to form a plant in 1-3 stems.

The Russian climate of mid-latitudes is absolutely not intended for growing such plants, therefore they usually resort to the use of agrofibers, which cover the bushes, but growing tomatoes in greenhouse conditions is considered the best option. Expect the harvest is only from mid-July. Gilded whitewash is a mid-season tomato variety, so the last fruits in open ground do not have time to ripen. This procedure affects ventilation and promotes a better intake of nutrients to the fruit.

According to its characteristics, gilded whitewash can be attributed to the category of beef tomatoes. A feature of this variety is that the fruits of tomatoes are quite large in size. During the season, on average from 3 to 5 brushes are formed on one bush, 4-6 ovaries on each brush. Often just huge tomatoes grow, whose weight is 1 kg. Typically, such giants grow in the lower tiers, the average weight of the fetus is about 700 g.

Gilded whitewash has such a name because of its golden (yellow-orange) color and irregular shape. The tomato has a flattened shape with a ribbed surface at the base, which just looks like a whitewash.

The color of the pulp has a light yellow tint. The consistency of the pulp has a fairly dense structure, but at the same time is not coarse. Almost imperceptible seed chambers contain a small amount of small seeds. The variety fully meets the criteria for beefsteak tomato varieties. The pulp has a light yellow, uniform color.

Ideal for making a variety of salads, ketchups and sauces.It can be consumed fresh, and since the flesh is quite fleshy, it is well suited for sandwiches or light, delicate snacks. The golden color of the fruit allows it to look spectacular in combination with other ingredients.

Due to its taste, it is possible to make very tasty tomato juice from the pulp of tomatoes. For conservation, this variety is not particularly suitable because of its relatively large mass and size. Despite this, tomato can be part of salads for preservation as an additional ingredient.

Agricultural technology

It is recommended to grow this variety in a strictly seedling way. The age of seedlings when planting it in a greenhouse should be at least 80 days. The ripening process usually begins no earlier than a month and a half after planting. Sowing can be done 90 days after the region has established warm weather.

It is not recommended to grow a tomato at home, as the growth period is quite long and, if improperly maintained, the plant can be extended. Landing in this case must be done in a horizontal way, into the grooves. Above the ground surface, leave 4 to 5 leaves from the top of the bush.
