How to wash your hair with an egg

Egg yolk as a shampoo for hair: important features

  1. Before using eggs for washing hair, determine the length and density. Owners of fluffy long hair need to use a minimum of 2-3 yolks, for girls with short and medium hair one will be enough. Before starting the procedure, make sure the product is fresh, then conveniently separate the yolk from the protein.
  2. Remove the film from the yolks and place them in a suitable container. The film is removed with a fork or by hand, you can pour the yolks with boiling water so that they harden from above, then pierce and extract the contents.
  3. Pour clean, settled water over the yolks, then beat the composition in a convenient way until the mass is increased 2–2.5 times.
  4. Rinse hair thoroughly with cool water. The curls should be slightly moist, but without dripping drops.
  5. The most comfortable way to carry out the procedure while taking a bath. Apply the product evenly along the entire length of the hair, paying attention to the root zone. Wash off after 30-40 minutes, when water procedures come to an end.
  6. The yolk is quite problematic with long hair, so first moisten the curls, carefully foam the composition, as when washing with an ordinary shampoo, then remove with plenty of cool water.
  7. After yolk shampoo, purchased conditioners or masks are not used. Hair without them will be smooth and silky, as a result of which you can easily comb them.
  8. If you have definitely decided to use folk remedies as daily care, add dry mustard and oatmeal to the yolks. Such a simple method will prevent the occurrence of dandruff and give shine to the hair.
  9. Egg yolk shampoo is suitable for all hair types. If you have excessive greasiness, add lemon juice, vodka or freshly brewed coffee to the composition. Owners of dry and brittle hair are recommended to use yolks, combining them with aloe vera juice. For the combined type, all home recipes are suitable.
  10. If you have time, make decoctions of herbs. You can combine plants in 2 species or use all at once. Give preference to the following components: mint, lemon balm, calendula, sage, chamomile, rosemary. After washing the hair with egg yolk, rinse it with water and rinse the curls with such a decoction.

It is not so easy to use eggs as shampoo, the procedure looks simple only at first glance. The hair and scalp should get used to the new composition without chemicals and harmful additives, it will take some time.
